This easy No Bake Chocolate Christmas Slice Recipe is perfect to enjoy at your next Christmas party!

pieces of chocolate christmas slice stacked

Along with being the perfect Christmas Party Food  treat, this no bake Chocolate Christmas Slice also makes a great homemade gift idea for friends, family and teachers.

The kids will also love helping you make this recipe, although  you will need to make sure that they don’t eat all of the M & M’s!

This slice is quite sticky once you mix all of the ingredients together but please don’t worry as this is completely normal!  To make this no bake slice, you just need a few simple ingredients:

    Ingredients:

    • Sweetened Condensed Milk
    • Marie Biscuits
    • Desiccated Coconut
    • Butter
    • Cocoa
    • White Chocolate
    • Coconut Oil
    • M&M’s
    • 100s and 1000s

You then need to simply melt the butter and combine all of the slice ingredients together in a large bowl.

    Christmas Slice mixture

Then, pop the mixture into your slice tin.

Add the melted white chocolate and decorate!

Tips for How to Make this Slice:

    • I use an 18 x 28cm slice tin for this recipe, you can use a different size tin if you wish, however the thickness of the slice will vary.
    • Make sure you line the tin with baking paper and leave paper hanging over the edges to help you remove the slice once it has set.
    • Your mixture will be sticky when you mix the ingredient together – this is normal.
    • I find it easiest to use two spoons to spread and smooth the mixture across the pan.
    • You can use milk or dark chocolate to top this slice if you wish.
    • If you can’t find Christmas M&M’s you can use regular M&M’s or any other type of Christmas chocolate.
    • This Slice can be made 2 -3 days in advance, just store it in the fridge until needed.
    • In this recipe I used 2 x 180gram blocks of Cadbury Dream Chocolate to help give this slice a ‘thicker’ top, you can use one block if you prefer a lighter white chocolate coating.

You could freeze the slice base, I wouldn’t freeze it with the chocolate layer though x

I just made this and it tastes great. When I went to cut it up, the icing cracked and it looks very untidy. What have i done wrong? How did you prevent the icing from cracking when slicing it?
      Thanks.
