This easy No Bake Christmas Slice Recipe is perfect to enjoy at your next Christmas party! Made with just a few simple ingredients, this no bake chocolate slice takes less than 10 minutes to prepare. Both regular and Thermomix instructions are included in the recipe card below.
Along with being the perfect Christmas Party Food treat, this no bake Chocolate Christmas Slice also makes a great homemade gift idea for friends, family and teachers.
The kids will also love helping you make this recipe, although you will need to make sure that they don’t eat all of the M & M’s!
This Christmas Slice is quite sticky once you mix all of the ingredients together but please don’t worry as this is completely normal! I find it best to use a spatula to help move the slice around the tin and flatten the surface.
Ingredients:
Please note you will find a full list of ingredients and the recipe method in the recipe card below.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk – you will need one full tin.
- Marie Biscuits – any type/brand of plain sweet biscuit can be used.
- Desiccated Coconut
- Butter
- Cocoa
- White Chocolate
- Coconut Oil – optional, this can assist if preventing the white chocolate layer from breaking as you cut into it.
- M&M’s – use a bag of Christmas M&M’s or pick out the red and green M&M’s from a regular bag.
- 100s and 1000s
How to make No Bake Christmas Slice
Step 1. Crush the biscuits and add the melted butter.
Step 2. Add the cocoa, desiccated coconut and sweetened condensed milk and mix until combined.
Step 3. Transfer the mixture to a prepared slice tray and smooth the surface.
Step 4. Melt the white chocolate and pour over the slice.
Step 5. Sprinkle the M&M’s and 100s and 1000s over the top of the slice before placing into the fridge to set.
Step 6. Once the slice has set, cut into pieces and refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
Expert Tips:
I use an 18 x 28cm slice tin for this recipe, you can use a different size tin if you wish, however the thickness of the slice will vary.
Make sure you line the tin with baking paper and leave paper hanging over the edges to help you remove the slice once it has set.
Your mixture will be sticky when you mix the ingredient together – this is normal.
I find it easiest to use two spoons to spread and smooth the mixture across the pan.
You can use milk or dark chocolate to top this slice if you wish.
If you can’t find Christmas M&M’s you can use regular M&M’s or any other type of Christmas chocolate.
This Slice can be made 2 -3 days in advance, just store it in the fridge until needed.
In this recipe I used 2 x 180gram blocks of Cadbury Dream Chocolate to help give this slice a ‘thicker’ top, you can use one block if you prefer a lighter white chocolate coating.

Simple and easy to make. So many comments from friends saying they love it.
Just noticed that the instructions are missing a few steps in the traditional method instructions details.

Can I freeze once made ?

You could freeze the slice base, I wouldn’t freeze it with the chocolate layer though x

I just made this and it tastes great. When I went to cut it up, the icing cracked and it looks very untidy. What have i done wrong? How did you prevent the icing from cracking when slicing it?
Thanks.
Monica Gatt.
Hi can I use different oil instead of coconut oil. thankyou.
