When I think about Christmas food, immediately : Shortbread, Rocky Road, Christmas Cake, Turkey, Trifle and of course perhaps my favourite – fudge come to mind. I’ve experimented a little with fudge in the past, but never a white chocolate version. Knowing it would be a great gift for the boys kindy teachers, I thought I’d better attempt a practice batch (or two as it turns out), especially as I had the brilliant idea of adding biscuits to it.
Being the ever impulsive supermarket shopper that I am, I already had a couple of packs of TimTams and Oreos in my pantry. I was torn between adding Oreos or TimTams (don’t worry, I did consider adding both!), so I asked the lovely people over on my Facebook page for some help to decide, and while it was close, Oreos won and this White Chocolate and Oreo Fudge was born.
I can’t say I was disappointed, as after the success of the White Chocolate and Oreo Cheesecake I was more than happy to experiment with this amazing combination again. It may have taken two attempts to come up with the perfect white chocolate fudge base, but the end result was more than worth it.
This White Chocolate and Oreo Fudge was super easy to make using a conventional method, but I couldn’t resist also making a batch in my brand new (and yet to be named) thermomix – which we enjoyed at our Mum’s group Christmas party yesterday.

Why must the spoon be metal?
Lauren
It’s a tip my Nan taught me, wooden spoons can sometimes have small amount of fats or other ingredients within them which can transfer to what your making. It’s just my personal preference 🙂
