Made with just five ingredients and ready in less than 10 minutes, this truly is the BEST Guacamole recipe out there – with Thermomix instructions included of course! This guacamole can be enjoyed in burrito bowls, with homemade wedges and of course with corn chips!
Avocado is one of those things that I grew up disliking but now can’t get enough of! I’m already a big fan of adding it to ALL my food (check out these Chicken Pesto and Avocado or Vegetarian, Pesto and Avocado Quesadillas) and now I’m mixing it up and adding this easy Guacamole recipe to EVERYTHING!

- Avocados – you will need three avocados for this recipe.

How to make Guacamole
- Mash the avocado flesh.
2. Add the chopped onion, tomato, coriander and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.
How to Serve Guacamole:
As well as serving it with Corn Chips, it’s also great with carrot or celery sticks, pita bread or crackers.
I’ve popped the recipe I’ve been using below, I don’t add a heap of coriander to my guacamole as it’s REALLY not one of my favourite herbs – in fact, I only eat it in guacamole! However if you are a big fan of it (and are a little crazy 😉 ) then feel free to add more.
Tips for Making the BEST Guacamole Recipe
- This recipe will require three avocados – approximately 300 grams of avocado flesh.
- You can still make this recipe if you don’t have quite enough avocado or slightly more avocado than stated.
- This Guacamole can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to two days, however it’s best enjoyed the day it’s made.
- If you LOVE coriander, you can add an extra 2 springs to the recipe.

The Best Guacamole Recipe
Equipment
- large bowl
Ingredients
- 300 grams Avocados approximately 3 avocados
- 50 grams Tomato 1 tomato
- 30 grams red onion ¼ of a red onion
- 5 sprigs coriander including the leaves and stem
- 30 grams lemon juice 1 lemon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Place the red onion and coriander on a chopping board and chop finely. Set aside until needed.
- Cut the tomato in half and chop into small pieces.
- Scoop the flesh out of the avocados and add to a medium bowl along with the salt and pepper. Use a fork or potato masher to mash until you reach the desired consistency.
- Add the chopped red onion, coriander, tomato and lemon juice to the bowl and mix well to combine. Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and place into the fridge until needed.
Thermomix Instructions
- Place the red onion and coriander into your Thermomix bowl and mix for 5 seconds, speed 6.
- Scrape down the sides of the Thermomix bowl and add the tomato halves and mix for 3 seconds, speed 4.
- Scrape down the sides of the Thermomix bowl and add the lemon juice, salt and pepper and avocado flesh. Mix for 3 seconds, speed 5 to combine. Scrape down the sides of your Thermomix bowl and mix for a further 3 seconds, speed 5 if you would like a smoother consistency.
- Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and place into the fridge until needed.
