Made with just five ingredients and ready in less than 10 minutes, this truly is the BEST Guacamole recipe out there – with Thermomix instructions included of course! This guacamole can be enjoyed in burrito bowls, with homemade wedges and of course with corn chips!

Guacamole in a small bowl sitting inside a large bowl of corn chips.

Avocado is one of those things that I grew up disliking but now can’t get enough of!  I’m already a big fan of adding it to ALL my food (check out these Chicken Pesto and Avocado  or Vegetarian, Pesto and Avocado Quesadillas) and now I’m mixing it up and adding this easy Guacamole recipe to EVERYTHING!

Why you will love this recipe:

    • Five ingredients
    • Quick to prepare
    • Make ahead – you can store this guacamole in an airtight container the fridge for up to three days.
    • Perfect party food – serve with pieces of carrot, celery or corn chips at your next party.

    Guacamole Ingredients

Please note you will find the full ingredient list and method in the recipe card below.

    • Avocados – you will need three avocados for this recipe.
    • Coriander – fresh.
    • Red Onion
    • Lemon
    • Tomato
Guacamole ingredients on a bench top.

    How to make Guacamole

    1. Mash the avocado flesh.

    2. Add the chopped onion, tomato, coriander and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.

    How to Serve Guacamole:

As well as serving it with Corn Chips, it’s also great with carrot or celery sticks, pita bread or crackers.

I’ve popped the recipe I’ve been using below, I don’t add a heap of coriander to my guacamole as it’s REALLY not one of my favourite herbs – in fact, I only eat it in guacamole! However if you are a big fan of it (and are a little crazy 😉 ) then feel free to add more.

Tips for Making the BEST Guacamole Recipe

    • This recipe will require three avocados – approximately 300 grams of avocado flesh.
    • You can still make this recipe if you don’t have quite enough avocado or slightly more avocado than stated.
    • This Guacamole can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to two days, however it’s best enjoyed the day it’s made.
    • If you LOVE coriander, you can add an extra 2 springs to the recipe.
What is the difference between Guacamole and Avocado Dip?

Avocado dip is made using just avocados while Guacamole combines several fruits and other ingredients to give its unique taste.

Can you make Guacamole in a Thermomix?

Yes you sure can! It takes less than 5 minutes to make Guacamole in a Thermomix and you will find the full recipe in this post.
