Expert Tips for Making Egg and Bacon Impossible Pie\ Crustless Quiche
- If you are running short of time, you can add the bacon and onion pieces uncooked, however cooking them does help to give the pie more flavour.
- It is important to coat the bacon, onion and cheese with the self-raising flour as this is what helps the ingredients to not fall to the bottom of the pie dish.
- I used 700 gram eggs, if your eggs are on the smaller side I suggest using five.
- You can cook this pie in a pie maker.
- If you have any leftover, this recipe can be frozen for up to three months.

I’m trying your recipe now. I turned on the oven light to check on progress while baking at 200 degrees. It was not as expected. I increased the temperature to 400 degrees, realizing the you must have been taking about degrees Celsius. You should put a “C” after the degrees.
In any case I love your site. I bookmarked it for future reference.
Thanks for sharing!
Lauren
My apologies Mary Jane, I hope you enjoy it xx
