Our delicious and easy Thermomix Cheese Sauce takes less than 10 minutes to prepare and is made with just SEVEN ingredients!

Made using TWO different types of cheese, this flavour packed cheese sauce is the perfect addition to your favourite pasta bake or lasagna recipe and is a delicious accompaniment to steamed vegetables.

It really couldn’t be easier to make cheese sauce in a Thermomix, all you need to do is grate the cheese, add the remaining ingredients and cook until the sauce is thick and creamy.

This Cheese Sauce recipe is also versatile, if you don’t want to add parmesan cheese you can simply use just tasty/cheddar cheese. It can also be made up to two days in advance and stored in the fridge until needed.

    Cheese Sauce Ingredients

To make this Thermomix Cheese Sauce recipe, you will need: tasty (or cheddar) cheese, parmesan cheese, milk (either full cream or skim can be used), butter, plain flour, nutmeg and a pinch of salt and pepper.

We do recommend using white pepper versus black pepper to ensure you don’t have any black flecks in your cheese sauce.

    Thermomix Cheese Sauce Steps

Step 1. Cut the cheese into cubes no bigger than 3cm. Place these into your Thermomix bowl and mix until finely grated.

    Recipe Hints and Tips

Either tasty or cheddar cheese can be used.

Substitute the parmesan cheese with tasty/cheddar cheese.

We recommend using white pepper so that there are no black flecks in the sauce.

This cheese sauce can be used to top lasagna, pasta bakes, steamed vegetables or served alongside corned beef/silverside.

Store cooked cheese sauce in the fridge for up to two days. To prevent a ‘skin’ forming, cover the top with a piece of cling wrap.

This cheese sauce is also freezer friendly.

Easy to make, mine was a little runny but maybe that was due to the almond milk. We had it on cauliflower and I will certainly make it again. Easy and tasty and suitable for many different recipes where a cheese sauce is required. Thank you!
