Although we love Anzac Biscuits, this Thermomix Anzac Slice Recipe is one of our favourites too!
I grew up having an Anzac Biscuit in my lunchbox and my boys seem to have inherited my love of this traditional biscuit (and the mixture!) too. Anzacs are such a great recipe to make with the kids (with a little supervision of course) and the boys always insist on ‘testing’ the mixture before we roll them ready for the oven – ok I do too!
It was only a couple of years ago that I started making Anzac Slice (crazy I know!) and since then it’s become as popular with the kids as the biscuits are and most importantly they have just as much fun making (and tasting) it too.
It’s really quite similar to a traditional Anzac Biscuit recipe, the quantities are just slightly different. Also because it’s a slice, I don’t feel so bad eating a couple of pieces at a time, yep dodgy logic I know! While I still often make this Anzac Slice the traditional way (you can find the recipe here) when I’m short on time or don’t have any little helpers, I like to use my Thermomix as it takes less than 5 minutes to put together.
