    Our Thermomix Porridge recipe is the perfect way to start your day! Made with just THREE ingredients and ready in less than 15 minutes, this recipe is sure to become your families favourite breakfast recipe.

    I love to start our day with a delicious and hearty breakfast and this Thermomix Porridge recipe ticks all the boxes!

    You will love:

    Quick to prepare – there is NO prep time for this recipe, simply place all of the ingredients into your Thermomix bowl and you are ready to go!

    THREE ingredients – yes that’s right! You will need just three simple ingredients to make this Porridge.

    Ready in less than 15 minutes – With just 13 minutes of cooking time, you can be sitting down enjoying this porridge in under 15 minutes.

    • Oats – either quick or traditional oats can be used to make this recipe.
    • Milk – we recommend using full cream milk for a creamy thick porridge.
    • Water

    How to Make Porridge in a Thermomix

    Step 1. Place the ingredients into Thermomix bowl.

    Step 2. Cook for 11 – 13 minutes *see notes.

    Step 3. Divide the porridge between serving bowls and enjoy!

    Tips for Making Porridge

    • Either quick or traditional oats can be used.
    • We recommend using full cream (whole) milk to make this porridge.
    • For a runnier porridge, cook for 11 minutes.
    • For a thicker porridge, increase the cooking time by 1-2 minutes.
    • Serve porridge immediately.
    • This recipe can be enjoyed as it is or topped with fresh fruit, nuts or honey.
    • This recipe can be doubled, you will just need to increase to cooking time by 2-3 minutes.
    Can you make porridge with water instead of milk?

    Yes you can, you will need to use slightly less water.

    What is the ratio of porridge to liquid?

    This will depend on if you prefer a runny or thick porridge. Work on the ratio of 1:2 or 1:3.

    Ingredients
      

    • 80 grams Rolled Oats
    • 240 grams Full Cream Milk
    • 180 grams water

    Instructions
     

    • Place the ingredients into your Thermomix bowl.
    • Cook for 13 minutes, 90 degrees, Speed 2 on REVERSE.
    • Divide the Porridge between two bowls and enjoy!
