I’ve jumped back on the healthy eating bandwagon again over the past few weeks in an attempt not only to lose a few pesky kgs, but simply because I feel so much better inside and out when I’m eating well and exercising more. However all of my good intention completely flew out of the door when it came time to cut this deliciously naught one bowl Chocolate Mars Bar Cake.
If you are looking for a cake that is rich, chocoately and most importantly full of Mars Bars, then this is the cake for you.
I’d been meaning to make this cake for almost a year (yep seriously!) after the delicious success that was my Chocolate Snickers Cake and I certainly wasn’t disappointed with the two spoonfuls I allowed myself to try, and I can assure you it took every part of my self control to stop eating this cake!
When it comes to decorating this cake, you can keep it as simple as you like, or go all out. My boys helped me decorate our Chocolate Mars Bar Cake (can’t you tell?!) with a simple chocolate ganache and Mar Bar pieces.
