Looking for the BEST No Bake Malteser Slice recipe? Well you’ve found it!
This classic slice is always a popular choice whenever I serve it at parties, and I love that I can make it a few days in advance of when I need it. This slice is slightly different from the original version as I use milk chocolate instead of dark for the base, however you can use dark chocolate if you prefer.
Regardless of whether you make this conventionally or using a Thermomix, this is a seriously easy recipe to put together. All you need to do is:
- Crush the Biscuits:
2. Melt the chocolate, butter and golden syrup
3. Combine the ingredients and pop into your baking tray
4. Then top with melted white chocolate and more Maltesers – too easy!
I find this slice takes a good four hours or so to set, however if you really can’t wait that long, you can check after three hours. Once set, slice into pieces and enjoy!
My Tips for Making This No Bake Maltesers Slice:
- You will need two blocks of milk and white chocolate for this recipe. Please note you will have leftover milk chocolate.
- I like to add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to the white chocolate when melting it, this helps to cut the slice without the white chocolate layer cracking.
- I use a 20cm square baking tin for this recipe, however you can also use an 18 x 28cm slice tin if you prefer, your slice pieces will just not be quite as thick.
- If you can’t find Marie Biscuits, you can use any other type of plain sweet biscuit.
- For a richer base you can use dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate.
- The mixture will be quite sticky when you are combining the ingredients, this is normal.
