I will start with an apology – this possibly is the most amazing and naughty slice I have ever made, and if you can stop after just one piece you have more will power than me. I would also like to share the blame for the calories you WILL consume eating this slice with Lucy from Bake Play Smile, as she is responsible for sharing a picture of this slice with me.
Just looking at the ingredients of the Malteser and Mars Bar Slice is enough to make your sweet tooth hurt – Maltesers, Mars Bars, Chocolate, Condensed Milk and Butter…. Mmmmm
Adding to the amazingness of this slice, is that no baking is involved! Just melting, mixing and popping it in the fridge – too easy!
If you are looking for an indulgent treat over the upcoming Easter long weekend, you certainly can’t go wrong with this recipe. Enjoy! xx

Malteser and Mars Bar Slice
Ingredients
- 1 cup of Maltesers plus extra to decorate grab a 280g pack
- 4 Mars Bars 4 x 53g bars
- ½ cup Condensed Milk 125ml
- 1 pack of Chocolate Ripple Biscuits 250g
- 2 blocks of Cadbury Milk Chocolate 2 x 200g blocks
- 100 g unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- Line the base and sides of a slice tin with baking paper.
- Finely crush the Chocolate Ripple Biscuits. You can use a food processor or the end of a rolling pin if you are like me!
- Roughly crush 1 cup of Maltesers.
- Dice the Mars Bars into small pieces.
- In a small saucepan over a low heat, melt the butter and condensed milk, stirring until combined.
- Add the roughly crushed Maltesers and Mars Bars to the crushed biscuits and stir through. Then add the melted butter and condensed milk and stir until combined - it will be very sticky!
- Pour the mixture into the slice tin and flatten with the back of a metal spoon. Pop it in the fridge for approximately an hour until it has completely cooled.
- Melt both of the blocks of chocolate and add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil to the melted mixture, making sure you stir it in.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the cooled slice and then decorate with remaining Maltesers.
- Put the slice back into the fridge and cut into pieces before it has completely set.

Hi, how long can these last in the fridge?
Have made 3 sets already they are amazing thanks for a great recipe!!
Lauren @ Create Bake Make
Thanks Phil, I’m glad you are enjoying them. I wouldn’t leave them in the fridge any longer than 3 -4 days.
Kaitlin
I am making this right now and hope i make it well. Do you have any tips, Before i start?
laurenm83
Hi Kaitlin, You will be fine, it’s really easy to make! My biggest tip is when it comes to cutting the slice, you don’t want it to be too hard, it needs to be a bit soft so you can easily get the knife through. Enjoy!
Angie
I have 1/2 can Condensed Milk left now so what should i make?
Lauren @ createbakemake
Hi Angie, you could make one of my slices – try the Caramello Slice (or you can just use your favourite block of chocolate). Enjoy and I hope you had a lovely weekend x
Mike Taylor

I’ve just made this it’s in the fridge chilling… Had the same problem around chocolate ripple biscuits so I’ve used tesco finest chocolate shortbread squares hoping this will work fingers crossed, it looks and smell good so will see
Lauren @ createbakemake
How did you go Julie? I hope it turned out for you x
Julie Clarke
I’m really impressed with the outcome, my god they so rich and yummy… My son was extremely impressed he said they sick, obviously meaning good, hehe, will make these again and again and again I think x
Lauren @ createbakemake
They are very rich, you really only need to eat one small slice at a time, but it’s just too hard to stop eating! I’m glad you son enjoyed it. Thank you for your lovely comments x
Jacky
I’ve just made these and they don’t seem right, have tried taking some out to put in a tub and the bottom layer just is really wet and sticky still. As I’m writing this I think I’ve worked out what the problem is. I live in a rural village and the shop only sells salted butter or spread so I chose the spread. The only think I can think of is this not setting at proper consistency, oops! Oh well, too late! Stepdaughter is taking them in to school tomorrow as it’s her last day
Jacky
Oh and I didn’t have my car yesterday so couldn’t go somewhere else
Lauren @ createbakemake
I’m sorry to hear that Jacky. Did you use condensed milk (I’ve sometimes bought evaporated milk by accident) as that could have also impacted the consistency. I hope your step-daughter enjoyed her last day of school 🙂
Desiree Boyd
Yeah if a recipe calls for Butter in a no bake recipe you can’t use a spread. They indicate butter as is used to set the bar, because butter goes really hard when put in the fridge. You could probably replace it with Copha but it wouldn’t taste as nice.
Lauren @ createbakemake
Thanks for advice Desiree. I agree, Copha wouldn’t taste the best. Have a great day 🙂
sue
where do you get the chocolate ripple biscuits from please
Lauren @ createbakemake
Hi Sue, They are made by Arnott’s and available only in Australia/NZ I believe. SOme people have used chocolate digestive biscuits instead which has also worked.
sue
Thanks Lauren looks like chocolate digestives then much appreciate you replying.
