This Chocolate Brioche Hot Cross Bun Pudding is going to become your new favourite Easter dessert!

Easy Chocolate Brioche Hot Cross Bun Pudding

If you are starting to plan your Easter feast, you really need to include this Chocolate Brioche Hot Cross Bun Pudding in your meal plan. This pudding is incredibly simple to make, and you can prepare it several hours before you plan to serve it, leaving you with plenty of time to relax with your friends and family. This recipe is inspired by the classic Bread and Butter Pudding we all grew up with, now with a the yummy twist! Using Woolworths Indulgent Cadbury Chocolate Brioche Hot Cross Buns and of course chocolate! You can use fresh Hot Cross Buns for this recipe, but I suggest you let them sit for a day or two to help them dry out and soak up all of that delicious vanilla cinnamon custard, but you may just want to hide them in your pantry first!

You can find everything you need to make this easy dessert at your local Woolworths store, and along with the yummy Woolworths Indulgent Cadbury Chocolate Brioche Hot Cross Buns you will need for this recipe, and a range of other Hot Cross Bun varieties including: Traditional, Fruitless, Gluten Free Gluten-Free and my favourite, Woolworths Indulgent Darrell Lea Mocha Hot Cross Buns – yum! Also, while you are there, you can also pick up everything else you need for your Easter entertaining and Easter feast, including seafood, fresh fruit and vegetables, roasts and of course Easter eggs!

Tips for making this Chocolate Brioche Hot Cross Bun Pudding:

    • You will need three packs of Woolworths Indulgent Cadbury Chocolate Brioche Hot Cross Buns for this recipe.
    • You can use a different shaped baking dish for this recipe, just make sure it has a minimum 2.2 litre capacity.
    • I find it easier to move the pudding in and out of the oven by placing the baking dish onto an oven tray.
    • You can also make this pudding up until the baking step several hours before it’s needed, – simply place it into your fridge and bring back to room temperature before baking.
