Today I’m sharing what has to be the BEST Slow Cooked Beef Recipe!
This recipe isn’t actually mine, it came from my sister who recently admitted it was actually her husband’s recipe! This easy meal is on a pretty regular rotation in our house as I can just pop it all into the slow cooker in the morning and then it’s ready for us to sit down and enjoy at the end of the day.
This slow cooked beef can be enjoyed as a roast with all of the trimmings, however I like to make this if I’m feeding a crowd or we’re planning to have an informal dinner. I just pull the meat apart (which is easy to do as it’s super tender) and them serve it on a platter (you can find some easy dinner platter ideas here) with some salads, chutney and fresh bread rolls.
Tips for Making the BEST Slow Cooked Beef:
You will need a Beef Blade Roast for this recipe
If your beef is smaller/larger than the one stated in the recipe, your cooking will vary.
This recipe is best cooked on low over a long period of time, however you can also cook it on high for 4 – 6 hours.
