This easy Beef Kofta recipe makes a great family meal!
My kids love sausages, so I was pretty confident that this Beef Kofta recipe would be a winner with them. Thankfully (for all of us! ) I was right and between the three of them, they were able to polish off all 10 Koftas in one sitting.
As these were for the kids, I decided to shape them into logs rather than using skewers and you can also do the same if you prefer. We enjoyed these with a little lemon and a garlic yoghurt sauce, plus I added some oven baked corn cobs and sweet potato wedges to the boys plates too – hardly traditional I know, but it was a winner! This recipe is also freezer friendly, so I have also made up batches of these and popped into the freezer for an easy meal to enjoy another time. I have frozen the Kofta uncooked, however they are also able to be frozen once cooked as well.
Along with being a great easy dinner (which you can find more of here), these Beef Kofta are also perfect for the kids lunch boxes or popped into a thermos if your kids would prefer to eat them warm. They are also yummy served with couscous (like this Roasted Vegetable Couscous Salad) and pita bread.
Tips for Making this easy Beef Kofta Recipe:
- Both the cooked and uncooked kofta is freezer friendly.
- I cooked these in a frying pan with a little ghee, however you can also bake them or cook on a BBQ/Grill.
- If you prefer to make these without skewers that is fine.
- This recipe can easily be doubled, however please ensure you do not go over the maximum fill line if making in a Thermomix.

Loved these. I moulded the meat mixture around a fresh rosemary stem, & cooked them that way. It was delicious. Just a thought.
