Line 2 oven trays with baking paper and set aside until needed. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees celsius.
Place the butter (which has been cut into 3cm pieces), golden syrup and brown sugar into your Thermomix bowl. Cook for 4 minutes, 80 degrees, speed 2.
Scrape down the sides of your Thermomix bowl and add the self raising flour. Mix for 10 seconds, speed 4.
Scrape down the sides of your Thermomix bowl and select the 'kneading' function. Mix for 30 seconds or until a soft dough has formed.
Place your Thermomix bowl into the fridge for 15 minutes to chill the dough.
Use a teaspoon to scoop up the mixture and gently roll into a balls.
Place onto your prepared trays and flatten slightly with the back of a fork.
Bake for 10 - 12 minutes before removing from the oven. Let the biscuits cool on the oven trays for 10 minutes before carefully transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
