  • 28 x 18cm slice tin

  • 1 cup tasty cheese grated
  • 150 grams ham
  • 1 tomato
  • cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 5 eggs
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tbsp onion flakes

  • Preheat your oven to 190°C (fan-forced) and line a 28 x 18cm slice tin with baking paper.
  • Roughly chop the tomato and shaved ham into small pieces and place it on a plate with the grated cheese and set aside until needed.
  • Crack the eggs into a large bowl and whisk.
  • Add the extra virgin olive oil, garlic powder, onion flakes and self-raising flour and whisk until the mixture is smooth.
  • Add the grated cheese, ham and tomato pieces you prepared earlier and use a spoon to stir the ingredients through the mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture into your prepared tin and gently smooth the surface. You can also sprinkle a little extra grated cheese over the top of the slice if you like.
  • Bake for 25 – 28 minutes or until golden on top and cooked through when tested with a skewer.  Let the Ham, Cheese and Tomato Slice cool in the tin for 10 minutes before carefully transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
