- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 & ¼ cups milk 290 grams
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 20 grams butter to grease the pan
Sift the flour and salt into a small mixing bowl.
Add the egg and vanilla extract and pour in the milk and whisk the mixture together until thick and creamy.
Heat your frying pan to a medium/high heat and approximately one teaspoon of butter.
For even sized pancakes, use a measuring cup (I use ¼) to scoop up and pour your batter into the pan.
Allow the pancake to cook for approximately one minute or until bubbles begin to appear on the surface. Flip the pancake and cook on the other side for one minute.
Place cooked pancakes on a plate and cover with foil to keep warm and continue until all of the mixture has been used.
