How to make Patty Cakes - Back to Basics

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups of Self Raising Flour
  • 2/3 Cup of Caster Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  • 3 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 125 g butter - softened.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 190 degrees.
  • Line a 12 hole cupcake tin with paper cases.
  • Add all ingredients to the bowl of an electric mixer and beat slowly for 1 minute until the ingredients start to combine. Increase the speed to high and beat for another 3 minutes.
  • Spoon the mixture into paper cases, pop into the oven and bake for approximately 18 minutes or until they are cooked through.
  • Leave the Patty Cakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
