Pizza Muffins

Equipment

  • Grill or Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 4 English Muffins
  • ½ cup Pizza Sauce
  • 100 grams cheese

Toppings

  • 100 grams ham
  • 50 grams Pineapple I use Pineapple Rings and slice into pieces.

Instructions

  • Cut the English Muffins in half and place on bench.
  • Top each muffin with Pizza Sauce, you will use approximately 2 tablespoons per muffin.
  • Add the ham and pineapple pieces before topping with cheese.
  • Pre-heat grill to a medium heat and carefully place the muffins inside. Watching closely, cook for 3-4 minutes or until the cheese has melted and is golden.

Air Fryer Instructions

  • Place the Pizza Muffins into the Air Fryer basket and cook at 180 degrees for 7 minutes. You will need to cook them in several batches depending on the size of your basket.

Notes

  • The time it takes to cook these muffins will vary, particularly if using an Air Fryer. The Air Fryer time specified is for a Phillips XL.
  • It's important to make sure you don't over cook the muffins.
  • Don't be tempted to add too much ingredients, this will result in the base of the muffins becoming soggy.
  • These muffins are best stored in the fridge and enjoyed wishing 2 - 3 days.
  • Muffins can be frozen for up to two months.
