How to Make Rissoles

These Beef and Vegetable Rissoles are a great budget family meal and can be modified to suit all tastes! Both regular and Thermomix instructions included.

  • Frying Pan


  • 500 grams beef mince
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 1 zucchini grated
  • 1 brown onion grated
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp tomato relish or sauce


  • Place all of the ingredients into a large bowl. using either your hands or a large metal spoon, break up the mince and mix together until combined.
  • Scoop up approximately 1/4 cup of mince mixture and roll into balls. Place onto a plate and repeat until all of the mixture has been used. Place the plate with the rissoles into the fridge for 30 minutes to chill.
  • Place the patties in a large non stick frying pan over a medium heat. Press down each pattie slightly and cook for approximately 3 - 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through.


You can leave the egg out of this recipe if you prefer.
These rissoles can be frozen either before or after cooking.
You can use other types of grated vegetables too, we also like to add grated sweet potato or pumpkin.
