These Baked Chicken Tenders make a great easy family dinner!
These Chicken Tenders are one of those recipes that is on high rotation in our house. Β Both the boys LOVE these ‘Giant Chicken Nuggets’ and myself and my husband enjoy them too.
How to Make Chicken Tenders:
To make, you simply need to:
1 Slice the chicken into thin strips
2. Prepare the egg and coating mixtues
3. Dip the chicken
4. Place onto a baking tray and pop into the oven!
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can these Chicken Tenders be made in advance?
Yes, you can also make these Baked Chicken Tenders in advance and then simply pop them into the freezer for those nights when you just can’t be bothered cooking – which for me at the moment is almost every night!
Ingredient substitutions:
When it comes to the ingredients you use for the coating of your Baked Chicken Tenders, you can add/substitute the herbs to suit you and your families tastes, I personally like a couple of teaspoons of paprika mixed through.
How to Serve Chicken Tenders:
While the boys are happy to dip their Chicken Tenders into a pot of sauce and call it a complete meal, I still serve these with a few steamed veggies or a simple salad so they are at least getting some good stuff into them. As well as being an easy dinner (you can find more of those here too), these Baked Chicken Tenders also make a yummy lunch when popped into a wrap with some salad.

I’m so lazy I always buy these in the freezer section. I should make them because not only would they taste better, I’m sure they are cheaper.

Mine sure do!
Janet aka Middle Aged Mama says
They look yummy, but I was mainly interested in comparing the “traditional” and “thermomix” recipes – would anybody seriously bother using a thermomix for this recipe? Sounds like more trouble than it’s worth! (Clearly I am not one of those on the thermie bandwagon … LOL)
