Over the past few weeks, it’s been the simple things that have made me happy – hugs and kisses from my boys, playing at the park, picnics by the water and just spending time with my precious little family.
While my ‘to do’ list is never ending and there are exciting projects on the horizon, I’m making progress while still prioritising what’s really important – spending time with my family and two little boys who are growing up waaaay too fast.
Today I’m taking stock, a huge thanks to Pip from Meet me at Mikes for this great list.
Making : Progress with my ‘to do’ list – finally!
Cooking : We made our own chocolate freckles today and while not a lot of cooking was actually involved, we had fun and they taste delicious!
Drinking : Water, water and more water.
Reading: Re-reading The Slap for our next Book Club catch up.
Wanting: Some quiet time.
Playing: Music while we get ready in the mornings instead of having the news on. Bopping around the kitchen with the boys makes our mornings much more fun.
Deciding: On which project I’m going to tackle next.
Wishing: Things were easy.
Enjoying: My boys – all three of them 🙂
Waiting: For the next adventure.
Wondering: If I’m strong enough for our next challenge.
Loving: This gorgeous Spring weather – I can feel Summer approaching us already!
Pondering: What the future holds.
Considering: Options… always options…
Watching: Old episodes of Seinfeld – love it!
Hoping: All of our plans fall into place.
Marvelling: At how amazing and beautiful my family is.
Needing: To focus.
Smelling: The delicious Sweet Peas my gorgeous boy picked for me.
Wearing: Summer clothes.
Following: The Block – playing catch up.
Noticing: A change in my mindset.
Thinking: About what’s next.
Admiring: My sister.
Sorting: Out our cupboards and wardrobes – a spring clean is waaaay overdue!
Buying: Only a coffee and babycinco today!
Getting: Organised for the week ahead, well kind of!
Bookmarking: Birdsnest.com is feeding my online shopping addiction.
Disliking: The things I cannot control
Opening: Happy Mail, the best kind!
Giggling: Watching ‘The Heat’ – a hilarious movie.
Snacking: Muesli Slice – YUM!
Helping: My big boy learn his letters – he is growing up too fast.
Hearing: Our baby boy laugh – the best sound in the world.
What’s making you giggle, smell and wish for this week?
