Day 3. Changing Tracks

We all have our own life soundtrack.  It includes all of those songs that whenever we hear them,  no matter where we are, we are immediately transported back in time.

My soundtrack would include:

“Rainbow Connection” (Kermit the Frog version) and I’m a scared five year old at her first dancing concert.

‘Time of your life’ (Greenday) takes me straight back to my Year 10 formal.

“Walking on Sunshine” (Katrina & The Waves) and I’m sitting in the back of my Nana’s car.

“Smooth Criminal” (Alien Ant Farm version) and I’m in my best friend’s car on a road trip.

“You are my sunshine” reminds me of our angel twins

“Murder on the dance floor” (Sophie Ellis-Bexter) and I’m on a nightclub dance floor realising I am falling in love with my now husband.

“Twinkle Twinkle” and I see my baby boy’s smile.

What songs would be part of the soundtrack to your life?

I love what you’ve done with the prompt!! Ahh bless Kermie the frog! Icehouse and great southern land reminds me of a bad relationship that I knew I should get out of but didn’t, well I did eventually but it took some time. x

Thank you. I’m glad you left that relationship. There are a couple of songs that also remind me of my ex (high school boyfriend) and they aren’t happy memories either xx

Thank you Lisa. I’m thinking I should actually put them all together in a play list!
